CBSE Senior Secondary · English Medium · Est. 1970

Gonda’s oldest convent school. Still its most careful.

Since 1970, Ravi Children’s Academy has taught the children of Patel Nagar and Gonda city — from the first alphabet to the CBSE board. Two campuses. One standard.

We Make Excellence A Habit

Since 1970

Founded by a teacher, for teaching.

The school was begun by the late Mr. J.K. Nelson, the well-known principal of Thompson Inter College, beside the Dukh Haran Nath temple in Patel Nagar.

It became the oldest convent school of the city — and stayed a self-financed institution, answerable only to the families it serves.

Today it is CBSE senior secondary, across two campuses, taking a child from nursery all the way to the board.

Academics first. But never academics alone — all-round development, personality, and the confidence to speak in any room.

Learning at RCA

Everything a childhood deserves.

From the first alphabet to the CBSE board — two campuses, one standard, one unbroken journey.

CBSE, Right Through to XII

An English-medium CBSE curriculum taught patiently and thoroughly. Concepts first, marks after — in that order, always.

Science & Computer Laboratories

Children learn science by doing it. Kept labs where the experiment is performed, not just read aloud from the book.

School Transport

School buses on the routes across Gonda town. Tell the office your locality and we will confirm the nearest pickup point.

Library & Reading

A quiet room and full shelves. Reading is the one habit that carries a child through every other subject.

Personality Development

Speaking, stage and bearing. Confidence is treated as a subject here — not a lucky accident of temperament.

Excellence & Values

The two words that guide everything the school does. Teachers track more than marks — attendance, conduct, growth.

The Unbroken Journey

One school, all the way through.

A child admitted at RCA does not change schools again. Here is the road from the first day to the board result.

THE EARLY YEARS

The first alphabet, unhurried

Letters, numbers and the habit of sitting down to learn. Nothing is rushed at this stage — because nothing rushed ever holds.

PRIMARY

Fundamentals that hold for ten years

English, mathematics and language taught to the base, not to the test. No child is moved on until the concept lands.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Into the laboratories

Hands on beakers, keyboards and library shelves. This is where a subject stops being a chapter and becomes an interest.

CLASS IX – X

The first board year

The CBSE syllabus taken seriously, with the teachers who have known the child since primary. Familiar faces make hard years easier.

SENIOR SECONDARY

Choosing a direction

Class XI and XII at the school’s own senior wing — no scramble for admission elsewhere in the most important two years.

AND AFTER

Out into the world, still ours

A school running since 1970 is measured in generations, not batches — and its old students are spread across Gonda and well beyond it.

Questions Parents Ask

Answers, straight.

We admit from Nursery through Class XII, subject to seats in each section. Mid-session transfers are considered case by case — bring the previous school’s report card when you visit.

Three simple steps: send an enquiry or visit the office, a short interaction with the child (senior classes take a written assessment), then document verification and fee submission. Most admissions complete within a week.

School buses cover the main routes across Gonda town and nearby localities. Share your address at the office and we will confirm the nearest pickup point and timing.

Regular parent-teacher meetings, a diary that actually gets checked, and WhatsApp updates for results, notices and fee reminders. If something needs your attention, you hear it from us first.

The school day runs from 7:50 AM to 1:50 PM, with the break from 10:50 to 11:05 AM. The administrative office stays open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for visits, admissions and enquiries.

One childhood. Choose carefully.

Seats in each class are limited by design. Start the conversation today.
